I return to Arlington throughout the year for family portraits, maternity and newborn sessions, milestones, and other moments worth remembering. Seasonal family sessions are offered on select weekends, with fall dates usually filling first.

BEHIND THE CAMERA

A familiar face behind the camera, back in Arlington throughout the year.

Hi, I’m Alex — a photographer, actor, mother of two, and Arlington native.

Arlington is home, and I genuinely love coming back to photograph families here. The sound of cicadas in the summer, the Yorktown drumline somewhere off in the distance, vine-ripened tomatoes from my mom’s garden, that unmistakable suburban mix of freshly cut grass and somebody firing up the grill — it all still feels like home to me.

I return throughout the year, and one of my favorite parts of photographing here is seeing so many of the same families come back as their children grow.

I’ll give you enough direction to feel comfortable, then leave room for your family to move, play, connect, and just be together. I’m always watching for what happens in between: the hand reaching for yours, the full-body laugh, the quiet look, the kid who suddenly decides the session is actually pretty fun.
